Jackie Robinson painting


I had started on this painting awhile ago for
a video someone was doing about me and
I never had a chance to finish it. It was
just a short segment showing me painting
one of these large scle pieces of art. I
worked on the piece last week and it's now

Basketball Jump Shot Painting

Derek Jeter and Ken Griffey, Jr. interview with Willie Mays

Fox Sports commissioned me to paint three large-scale paintings of Willie Mays for a tribute to the great baseball player. As an artist it was a joy to create a piece of art of one of my heros. Two of the paintings are 5 feet x 6 feet portraits. The third painting, from the well-known photograph "The Catch" is 4 feet by 7 1/2 feet. I've haven't been posting daily because Fox Sports
commissioned me to paint three large-scale paintings
of Willie Mays for a tribute to the great baseball player.
Two of the paintings are 5 feet x 6 feet portraits. The third
painting,from the well-known photograph "The Catch"
is 4 feet by 7 1/2 feet.Fox Sports is using the paintings
as backdrops for a tribute interview that will
air nationally prior to the Major League All Star Baseball
game televised this Tuesday, July 10, 2007
