Tar Mussel Art Assemblage and Reality

Walking on the beach in front of my studio the other

morning I came across mussels in a tide pool. I took

a photo to compare and show the difference between

the art piece shown here and the photo of the

mussels in the tidepool. This comparison should

explain what the difference is between art and reality.
